Meet the Team

KATHY HUGHES

Kathy Hughes has 30 years of experience in orthodontics working with Dr. Kenneth Rankin and Dr. McCaskey. After working in patient care for over 25 years, Kathy recently has taken an administrative role. She orders office supplies, works with family dentists in the area to ensure coordination of care and helps to make sure the annual February "Beat the Winter Blues" party is great fun for our patients and staff. Kathy is likely to be the first person you will speak with when calling to schedule an appointment at any of our three offices.

Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and her fifteen nieces and nephews. She also loves to travel, with her favorite destination being Hawaii where she and Jeff were married. In the fall you will find her cheering for the six-time World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers!

JILL MARIE CICCO

Jill Marie Cicco has 30 years of experience in orthodontics and patient care. She started her career in Ohio and then traveled to New York City to assist in an orthodontic practice there for 10 years. While she was there, she studied sculpting. Her interest in sculpting is why she enjoys fabricating most of the orthodontic appliances we supply to our patients. Jill met her husband, Frank, in New York. Frank was selling fabrics to custom tailors around the country and now co-owns Frank Cicco Custom Tailors in Butler, Pennsylvania. They have two boys, Dante and Nico. Both boys are competitive swimmers and enjoy playing golf and Nico also enjoys playing soccer. In her off time, Jill is busy with the YMCA swim team, PTO, and soccer practice. She enjoys working out at the YMCA, cooking, gardening, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and taking care of their pet cat, Fergus.

CAROL LANGER

Carol Langer has worked in orthodontics for 26 years, five of those years in Dr. McCaskey's office. She enjoys working directly with the patients in the clinic and enjoys talking with the patients and parents in the relaxed atmosphere of our office. The enthusiasm and energy that our patients offer to our practice help to make her job enjoyable.

Carol likes being a "hometown girl," as she has lived in Mars, Pennsylvania, her entire life. She and her husband, Tom, have two children and four grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys running, biking, and golfing with her husband. Also, the family enjoys traveling and visiting the beach each summer.

LOIS CRISPIN

Lois Crispin is an Orthodontic Assistant in our office with 23 years of experience in the field. She has worked for Dr. McCaskey for the last six years. She truly enjoys the time she spends with our patients, adults as well as children, and finds great satisfaction with the hands-on care she is able to provide.

Lois and her husband, Ken, reside in Butler, Pennsylvania, with their three daughters and three miniature schnauzers. She also enjoys boating, water skiing and camping with her family and frequently travels to the southern states where she finds great pleasure in touring historical homes and spending time on the beach.

TRACY FASSINGER

Tracy Fassinger has been an Orthodontic Assistant since 1988 and has worked for Dr. McCaskey since 2007. Tracy most often works in our Grove City office but often helps out in Butler and Saxonburg, when needed. Tracy recently completed a training seminar in Buffalo, New York, where she learned how to make orthodontic study models. Also, she has experience in fabricating orthodontic appliances. Tracy loves interacting with the patients in our practice and is very comfortable with the family atmosphere provided here.

Tracy and her husband, Rob, have been married since 1995 and have lived in Grove City since 2005. They have one son, Matthew. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening and home improvement projects.

CORINE PINTO

Corine Pinto is the Clinical Supervisor in our office. Having three sons of her own and forty plus nieces and nephews, it is no wonder that she feels right at home with young folks. She finds her work in our orthodontic office both challenging and rewarding. Corine is a Butler native and graduated from Butler High School and Butler Community College, where she received an associates degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, Corine worked in a general dental practice for 16 years. She has worked in this orthodontic office for the past 15 years and especially enjoys the field trips and YMCA parties that we have every year. At the YMCA parties, she is in charge of the relay games, having gained experience in games from all of her family gatherings. You will meet Corine at your initial visit in our Butler and Saxonburg offices.

Corine and her husband, Joe, have three grown sons. Aaron and Fred live in Butler and Dominic lives in Portland, Maine. Her favorite pastimes include traveling (Maine and Italy are her favorites), being together with her family, riding bikes, gardening and sampling her husband's wonderful baking (his biscotti are the best!).

KELLY FILER

Kelly Filer lives in Mercer, Pennsylvania. She attended J. H. Thompson Academy in Erie, Pennsylvania, and Slippery Rock University. Kelly has 20 years experience in the dental field. She has worked in orthodontics for 11 years, 10 of those years with Dr. McCaskey. She enjoys the family atmosphere of our office. You will most often meet her at your initial visit in our Grove City office. However, Kelly is kind enough to help out in our Butler and Saxonburg offices as needed.

Kelly and her husband, Graig, have two boys, Bradley and Carson. She enjoys time with family, watching the Cleveland Browns (someone has to do it) and helps out at both the children's schools when possible.

PAM POWERS

Pam Powers is the Insurance Coordinator and Correspondence Secretary in our office. Pam enjoys working with people and helping people to understand their insurance benefits through their insurance companies. Her love of computers is helpful in compiling and writing our office newsletter and in the desktop publishing needs of our office. You will also encounter her quite often when calling to schedule appointments as she helps there as needed. Pam has worked in this office for 12 years and has worked in the dental field for over 28 years. She is originally from the South Hills of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of Baldwin High School. Upon graduation, Pam attended Averett College in Danville, Virginia, and received an associates degree in Business from that institution. She worked as an Office Manager for a general dental office in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, a Scheduling Coordinator for a pediatric dental office in Morgantown, West Virginia, and for another general dentist in Blacksburg, Virginia, before returning to the Pittsburgh area to work here.

Pam, her husband Jeff and their son John live in Prospect, Pennsylvania. They love animals and have three cats: Eddie, Baxter, and Angel. She enjoys being with family and friends, crafts, home remodeling and decorating, working in the yard, and especially traveling the countryside with her husband on their motorcycle.
