Invisalign® Clear Aligners

Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear, removable, comfortable aligners to straighten teeth.  The clear aligners are made of plastic and place gental forces on teeth to move them into their proper positions.  To find out if you are a candidate for Invisalign treatment, schedule a complimentary consultation with our office.  If Dr.Ted or Dr.Lyndsey determine that Invisalign treatment would be an appropriate course of treatment, they will devise a customized plan specifically for you.  No two smiles are alike, and our doctors take great pride in ensuring each patient receives clear aligner therapy designed for his or her individualized treatment goals.

3M™ Clarity™ Aligners

Because of the advanced orthodontic training of Dr.Ted & Dr.Lyndsey, McCaskey Orthodontics also offers 3M™ Clarity™ Aligners. This clear aligner system offers the benefits of removable plastic trays to gradually straighten teeth.  To find out if you might be a candidate for this type of orthodontic therapy, please schedule a complimentary consultation with our office.

3M™ Clarity™ Advanced Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces are made out of tooth-colored material and are, therefore, less noticeable than metal braces.  Because they are less prominent, patients who may have more esthetic concerns may choose this option for treatment.  Ceramic braces are just as effective as metal braces, but they have a tendency to be more brittle.  Like metal braces, you can choose to wear colors during treatment, or you can opt for a more tooth-colored ties!  Ceramic braces are a great choice for patients of all ages.

Traditional Metal Braces

Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before.  Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires.  With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics for a more unique and colorful smile!

Dentofacial Orthopedics

What is dentofacial orthopedics? Many patients wonder what it means when their orthodontist specializes in dentofacial orthopedics. This specialization means that your doctor has training and experience in working with the management of tooth movement (orthodontics) as well as the guidance of facial growth and development (dentofacial orthopedics), which usually occurs during childhood.

Surgical Orthodontics

Orthodontics is designed to reposition and straighten teeth, but surgical orthodontics may be needed in some cases to correct more severe jaw irregularities. Surgical orthodontics is used to straighten the jaw into alignment, often improving a patient's ability to chew, speak, and breathe. Braces are often worn in conjunction with orthodontic surgery to make sure the teeth stay in the proper position as well.
